Software has been enhanced to support the ICD10 codes. In an effort to ensure that our clients have sufficient time to plan and implement the needed changes to support ICD-10, the software has been enhanced to handle the ICD10 coding.

Announcing the availability of the HL7 Gateway for COMS Interactive. The gateway sends ADT information directly to the COMS system. Exchanging data reduces the work needed to process patients and creates better communication with the Vendor Rehabilitation Company.
Once the HL7 Gateway is installed, Admissions Discharges Transfer information is automatically sent to the COMS. The COMS Medicare progress notes are scheduled to auto-populate the facility's database by the end of the year.

lists of things you need to do and check them off as you're done. Just click and type to add new tasks and set due dates. Separate Task lists can be built for the patients, nursing unit or yourself.
OptimumSeries modules now provide Direct Integration with MaxxVault's Enterprise Document Management Software. This allows users to directly access scanned content (documents, faxes, videos and medical images) stored in MaxxVault. When MaxxVault functions are invoked, automatically the patient and folders are selected based on the patient and functions being processed in the OptimumSeries User Interface.

ADL announces a joint project to integrate RES Systems MEDS System to provide for electronic submissions of New York City Medicaid applications.
The agreement with RES Systems is to integrate their MEDS - Medicaid Application Submission software directly with the OptimumSeries Interface. Since MEDS interfaces directly with the New York City Medicaid Program’s EDITS system, facilities will be able to electronically process Nursing Home Applications, Conversions, Status Changes, and Recertifications directly from the OptimumSeries user Interface.
