Pre-Admission allows you to enter prospective patient and
use programs to calculate the expected reimbursement rates
and cost of care. Pre-admission data is kept in
a separate database from the Census data so In-House resident
and patient statistics are unaffected.
Determine if the potential admit will be profitable by calculating their
RUGS Grouping using hospital supplied data and determine their level of care
and reimbursement rate. Know before accepting a patient if they will be
profitable.
All Preadmission data can be copied to the regular resident admission
record. During the Admission process yo are provided options to move data
from the Pre-admission or Waiting-List to Census database.
Pre-Admission Assessments
Before admitting a resident, you can determine the services and costs
involved in caring for the prospective patient/resident. Pre-Admission
assessments can predict/calculate the costs and reimbursements
of a resident's care. Resident on either the Pre-Admission or Waiting-List
can be assessed and
the RUGs Group and reimbursement rate calculated. Capture
demographic, billing, and prior care information in the initial interview,
and record an incoming
resident’s ADLs and need for special services, including
specialized care for clinically complex issues and Rehabilitation therapies.
Admissions Packs
A completed set of Admissions forms with data can be printed with
data that was captured in the Preadmission process.
