PreAdmissions calculates the RUGS Group for potential admissions. Information from hospital records is entered and the corresponding RUGS Group in calculated. Pre-admission data is not included in the regular database and does not affect impact on In-house resident statistics.

Preadmission data is transferred to the regular resident record during the admission process. ADT provides options to move any records from the Pre-Admissions or Waiting List to Census database.

Pre-Admission Assessments

Before admitting a resident, it is important to understand the services and costs that will be needed to care for the resident. Pre-Admission assessments can be preformed to predict/calculate the cost and reimbursements of a resident's care. Any resident, on either the Pre-Admission or Wait list, can be assessed and the RUGs Group and reimbursement rate calculated. Capture demographic, billing, and prior care information in the initial interview, and record an incoming resident’s ADLs and need for special services, including specialized care for clinically complex issues and Rehabilitation therapies.

A completed set of Admissions forms with data be printed with data that was captured in the Preadmission process.
