Computer Assisted Care Planning

Problems can be entered manually, pulled from a Library, or derived from the resident's MDS. Each Problem has one or more Goals , which in turn has one or more Approaches . Every Problem, Goal and Approach can be customized to the specific resident care plan. Click to enlarge

The Care Plan module is very flexible and comprehensive software. Our software wizards make it easy to to load data from the user-defined libraries by guiding the user step-by-step through the process. At any point the user can move backwards to verify or change the responses.

Use the most recent MDS to create a fully editable Care Plans based on MDS fields and/or RAP triggers. The system uses on an innovative MDS Rules engine, to evaluate responses an MDS and RAPs triggered and create a suggested Care Plan. Modify or add to the Rules to customize the procedures for your facility.

Problem Set Libraries

ADL Standard Problem Set Libraries were written in-house, by Registered Nurses. When creating or updating a Care Plan the user has access to there Problem Set Libraries (your Problem Library, the ADL Standard Problem Library, Health Condition Library. Each libraries has a full set of Problems and their Goals, Approaches, and Assigned Disciplines.

Goals, Approaches, and Health Conditions

In addition, ADL provides a starter MDS Rules Library. Copy information from the ready-made ADL Libraries to quickly develop a unique Library relevant to resident needs in your facility. Use your Library to add information to an existing Care Plan or create a Care Plan.

HIPAA Security

HIPAA security compliance is integral to the system. Each clinician is assigned a unique personal PIN number to electronically sign assessment sections. Snooze buttons temporarily blank patient data screens to maintain confidentiality when the user needs to step away for a moment.
