Continuous Product Enhancements

Scheduled Software Releases

ADL releases software and enhancement updates on a regularly scheduled basis. Updates are available at no charge to all clients with an current maintenance agreement. Depending on size of the programs, updates are shipped on CD or tape, or can be downloaded from a protected page on a web site.

System software

Periodically the computer manufacturers release new versions to their Operating Systems, such as Microsoft releasing Windows XP. These updates are critical as they correct known program problems, add services and features or support new devices.

Consultation and assistance is always available to guide you through the update process.

Keeping the software up-to-date is a very important function and we highly recommend that clients do not delay applying the updates for more than six months. As the software is run in the field and tested at our facilities, program issues are sometimes uncovered which are fixed immediately.

Second, after using the software many clients provide us with feedback as to how the software can be improved. These improvements are integrated into the system and after being tested are released in the updates.

Having updated software ensures that you have the latest software improvements and that any known issues have been resolved. The ADL support staff is most adept at answering questions on the current software.
