Sharing Data and Information

ADL can assist you to realize the potential of networked electronic records with our Web Server Installation Services. We will configure a server to act as an internal web server as an intranet or internet server. Use one of your existing servers of a dedicated one just for this purpose.

The web server is configured, documentation and help files can be loaded onto it. Users throughout the intranet or across the Internet (with proper permissions) can access and share help documentation and other documents from their PCs. In addition to HTML Help files (our normal Help file format), any PDF files can be shared using the web server. PDF files can be read by any computer using the free Acrobat Reader software, which can be downloaded for free from Adobe

ADL uses the Apache web server software for our Internet and Intranets. We consider it to be the best web server available, and is used as the major web servers on the Internet-- in fact, it has been the single most popular web server on the Internet since April 1996.
